true enough, but my point was that if i was to be called such, i'd prefer it be done by someone that i already knew and had grounds to call me something like that, not someone making assumptions based on posts i make in a forum.

I saw a number of people that were quoted - including myself - said that the thread in question was about seeking attention.

However, none of them referred to SSW as an 'attention whore'. I don't think I have ever used that particular phrase about anyone, as I don't like it. I do know that Hazza has used it about a number of people (generally in B&R), and has been called out on it. I think Grumbie has used it too. Not sure who else, and I don't know if either of them directed it at SSW.

Post here or not, it is your choice. If you do stupid things, expect to be called out on it. Lots of people are. Life is like that. But people will generally congratulate you on good things too, so it evens out.
