K, personally, I come to zGeek to read news, look at porn, talk about cool/useless shit and abuse Nodbugger. I'm not really that interested in too much of the other shit, and I see this zcash thing going down a bad path. i don't like the idea of having to 'pay' to change my username if I ever wanted to (not that I can forsee it happening, but you get the idea). So I'm wondering if there's a way to just maintain all the zgeek goodness without worrying about how much money we've got in the bank. I have enough problems with that issue in real life.

But yeah, it'd be good if there was some kind of 'ZCash invisible' option so that you couldn't be affected. Isn't there something like that for rep as well?

Oh NOEZ!!! Zgeek is not going to be the serious, thought provoking site it was in the past. Instead it will be a place where people mess with each other and goof off!! What will we do? I say we start another website based on BBC news and NPR broadcasts from North America!!!

I, for one, am ticked that all this posing in Canaliens forum about how zCash is dumb is giving him more and more zCash. Don't give this power to a Canalien people! They are pacifists, they don't know what to do with it!!!! Think of the children!

You are not villian enough my friend. zCash to me means every time I get a blank neg rep from Noddy, I can torment the shit out of him because I know he's not intelligent enough to keep up to me zFinancially :)

problem i see with it is, people just posting random pointless shit to increase their zcash levels, which i believe will have a negative affect on the site if it continues. I personally think i'd work better if it was tied into the rep maybe? Like you get rewarded for good behaviour, not posting a pointless thread.

Right now there is no way to change your username unless i do it. So this is adding a new functionality to the site. Plus the way its going to be put together is if you don't want to play, you don't have too. You're not going to be penalised if you don't give a rats ass about it. If you aren't happy about have a zcash level in your postbit, then learn the vb system and code me the hack to enable it to turn off. I can't be arsed doing it.

I'm just annoyed that it seems a lot of people are now posting news on the front page than before. And some of it seems useless ie millionarie dude winning being posted 5 days after event. And also the mass spammage that is occuring.
I give a meh too though, but if content starts to slip then meh may become a HOLY MTOHER OF CHRIST!!!
