View Full Version : Ahh...temptation

Quick background, I'm happily married (3 years now) with the first child on the way (due in March, yay!).
Due to the wife being pregnant, it's been about...er...two months since I saw some action. Went out Friday night, 3 chicks sat down at my table (while my friends were off trying to pick up). They noticed my wedding ring (and commented on it) yet when one of the girls asked me to dance, she proceeded to rub her breasts on my chest and grind her pelvis into my thigh (she was pretty good looking too...). I managed to disentangle myself, and she came straight back in for round two. Repeat until end of song...
Basically after the song was over, I made my excuses and left. There's no way I'd ever cheat on my wife, but it was...weird...being aroused by some strange girl. I felt a bit ashamed that she'd got a reaction out of me, but then reasoned that after 2 months of enforced celibacy, it would be strange not to feel anything.
Should I feel weird about the whole thing? It kind of feels like I did something wrong even though I didn't touch the girl (believe me, she was doing enough touching for both of us)

It's ok to feel weird, main thing is you knocked that slut back....Good job.

no.
it's not odd to feel a little guilt, but your body's reaction is pretty normal.
power to you for not even being tempted.

Arousal is not something to be ashamed of bro. It's the human instinct that compels us to breed and it is beyond your control. But you did the right thing.

Blink you might also want to consider this...the fact you were wearing your wedding ring at all made you a non threatening prospect and therfore more likely to attract behaviour such as this because she knew she could dirty dance with you and you were less likely to follow up with more.
On the flip side some girls have a thing for married men because they all want what they can't have or as my wife is fond of saying they can borrow the man without having to worry about keeping him.
Pick the one that makes you feel the best about the incident...works for me.

Agree with Sagacious's sage advice. Another way to look at it is that often in our lives we have the choice to do what is right or what is easy. This is often more true when dealing with an "easy" woman.
Add a layer of complication though and mull it around: Say you meet her, and had one of those "eye to eye fall in love moments...
Now what do you do?

I'll lock in option 1 thanks Eddie. I've had my share of offers over the last 3 years (usually a drunken "I'd shag you if you weren't married") but there really hasn't been any arousal or temptation to go through with anything.
Chalk it up to experience I guess :)

I think that's one of those questions you can't answer until it actually happens! :)

She's due in mid-March. Hasn't been that interested in the physical stuff for the last couple of months...which I respect. How many kids have you got mate?

Good for you sir.
Men get labeled as bastards but quite a few of us married ones do keep to the straight and narrow.
As everyone else has said feeling aroused is normal, cheating on your pregnant wife would be down right shitty.

Good on you, Blink. Not that my gf is pregnant (nor has she been), but I've had a few drunken encounters with girls who appeared quite keen to take the dancing elsewhere. Fortunately for me I am a tool when I'm drunk so this interest lasts only so long. ;)
I don't think you should be worried if a fairly attractive girl grinding up against you causes parts of you to pay attention. I know I'd be worried if mine didn't. As has been said - attraction and arousal are physical things (particularly for blokes), ACTING on those things is all mental and from all accounts you handled yourself perfectly.

As Oscar Wilde was fond of saying....'I can resist anything except temptation.'
My hat is off to you Blink.

some ppl only want what is a challenge or what belongs to someone else.
Drunk ppl tend not to care either way.
A friend of mine keeps telling me that you only get preggers when you do swallow.
Good work tiger, nothing wrong with that at all, you did the right thing. Some chicks are just a bit, um, odd like that.
My gf (of about 2 months) got majorly pissed off at a female friend of ours, who was apparently 'flirting' and 'shoving her tits in my face'. To my credit i was too busy playing pool to notice.

Tell her the story, emphasising how you were aroused. She might reward you with a knob polish.

Good advice all round. Err, except I don't know if telling her you were aroused by someone else would be a good idea.
Girl.

Feeling attracted to other people is fine. Acting on that attraction is not.

Don't tell her - it's not so much hiding something as you didn't do anything wrong and it'll only make her feel bad. Pregnancy doesn't make you generally feel like the sexiest woman in the world.

its probably something you will be able to laugh about in a while, but i wouldnt be telling her now because you wouldnt want any extra stress while there is a bun in the oven

Yeah, he's gay. That's why he loves his wife so much as to not betray her even when his balls are about to fall off!

It's the goof of all time. Look but don't touch. Touch but don't taste. Taste but don't swallow. And while you're jumping on one foot to the next, what is he doing? He's laughing his sick fucking ass off. He's a tightass. He's a sadist. He's an absentee-landlord! Worship that? Never!

I agree. That is a hormonal version of Russian Roulette that I personally wouldn't want to play. I remember when Frank's Mom was pregnant... one moment she would be hot and ready, the next she's be like "look where it got me last time". It was a scary time.
