So... I find myself eating Indian food or Asian food every night.
And occasionally something italian.
its getting kind of boring
I occasionally cook a roast, sometimes sausages, sometimes rissoles.
When I have enough effort I'll make dumplings or kenedel
We sometimes have schnitzel, with various spices mixed in for a bit more flavour.
Its REALLLY starting to get boring
So suggest foodage for me to cook/eat.

tacos and burritos are out... My digestive system has definitely stood up and said "FUCK OFF! WE'RE NOT PUTTING UP WITH THAT SHIT" when i've tried to eat them in the last year.
Shepards pie sounds like a good idea... I loved that when my mum used to make it.
Fish, also a fantastic idea... I've got some lemon and pepper seasoning I can use, and I could probably bake it the same way I baked the lemon and pepper chicken I made.
Any types of fish in particular you recommend? I hate picking around bones.

it's easy to make and tastes great. get the good dried chillis and the cooking rice wine from the asian supermarket.
edit - for extra flavour add crushed garlic and ginger with the shallots (green onions)

Honey and Soy Stir fry with at least 5 different types of fresh vegetables
Cream based pasta sauce (for those without “digestive issues”)
Chicken Luksa (easier to make, than spell)
Decent steak with Wedges, sweet chili sauce and sour cream & A few vegetables
Asia @ Home
Baked Beans & Cheese on Toast
Beef Stroganoff
Home Made Pizza on Lebanese bread
There you go next week all mapped out. If you skip the pasta it’s all relatively healthy and low in fat too

Heh, cool.
I'm fine with the asian foods and stir frys, I'm even experimenting now with making my own sauces.
But I want food that ISN'T asian... because I'm getting really sick of it.
And laksa = bad on stomach
Creamy stuff is cool nowdays thankfully (if you know how to make a white wine sauce I've got a thread asking for help with that)
Pizza is an idea, but since its both thingy and I eating it, we'll go buy a whole pizza base.

Nile Perch is a pretty good versatile fish I've found, it's relatively cheap and you can get it frozen from the supermarket (when I used to work at Coles the fish was sold thawed but people could ask it from the coolroom, still frozen).
I also quite like ling but not everywhere has that.

Not many bones?
I love a good baked fish with lemon!

Nile perch has reached us from Africa, some from the heavily polluted Nile River. You are much better off eating fresh local fish. I had a flounder tonight, skinned and grilled with lime juice, butter and salt. Also try schnapper, ocean perch and leatherjackets (which are cheaper). Your conscience will applaud you for eating such a healthy meal.

Also, cod, which some people seem to have something against, but I like.
