The teaser trailer for this is up in HD Here. (http://www.apple.com/trailers/touchstone/apocalypto/hd/)

Im very curious to see how this film turns out, i hope its good.
For those of you who dont know, this is the new film by Mel Gibson. its "An action/adventure film set 600 years ago, prior to the 16th-century Spanish conquest of Mexico and Central America, where a man goes on a perilous journey to save his idyllic world. " (IMDB (http://imdb.com/title/tt0472043/)) Made in the langauage of the time, or an axproimation or something. Similar to what Mel did with the Passion of the Christ. I thought that worked well there, and hopefully this film it'll work as well.

I don't know.
Apart from the dude with webbed hands at the end of the teaser the whole thing really didn't grab me.

im just fascinated by the whole, window to past approach, and trying to depict things as how they'd be if you were there, no contemporising... is that a word?

My God, that photo makes Mel look a cross between Billy Conolly & Sadam Hussein
