Finally saw an episode of American Dad tonight, and I have to say I really thought it was the suck.
Im a big fan of Family Guy, but meh.. I dunno. I may try to catch it next week and see if it gets any better..
Anyway, I feel so much better telling you all my opinion about this. Now I can get on with the rest of my life.

american dad is fucking funny. its just not as random as family guy, e.g. less 'like the time i..' sketches.
stan of arabia, come on!
edit: and to compare it to family guy is fucking dumb, they are made by the same peps yeah, but its a completley different type of show.

i don't think it's completely different... wasn't the idea that they axed family guy so the creators went 'ok, fuck you, have this carbon copy of our own show instead suckers'

Awwww..... didn't get that sense of humour from santa like you asked eh???
Maybe try satan next time.
.... just goes to prove men know nothing about ironing.
American Dad = funny. Klaus has to be one of the best characters by far plus Stan's boss is a crack up.

I tought American Dad was pretty funny since it takes the total piss out of the American family stereotype. The humour is both ironic and an insult to stereotypes and politics with lots of social commentary hidden inside. If you like slapstick random shit then this show isn't for you. It's a thinking man's comedy.

I <3 Family Guy for the excellent pop culture references and randomness.
That said, I <3 American Dad for it's own reasons too.
Hasn't this already been done with the whole, "Which is better... Simpsons or Futurama?" thread?

Dont worry son. There are plenty of kids your age in heaven. Like that girl from poltergeist, she's got to be like 16 now. You could toatlly hit that!
