need a good site for...

movie reviews. Not just any review either. I'm after a place where movies are broken down into their elements. Where people talk about lighting, colours, tone, etc. Where they explore metaphors and what they could possibly mean.

But if no such place exists, can people name a good 'standard' review site?

well i dont know about a site like the one you're looking for, but for general reviews

they have links to lots of reviews for movies, and an overal score for the movie based on the reviews. Some of the reviews they link to might be what you're looking for and set you on the right path to finding a site like the one you seek.

well there's a million websites that do many different styles of reviews

hollywoodreporter.com always does long reviews that leave you unsure whether they liked the film or not
