Hi all,

I know this is probably going to be one for the oldies, but I am looking for a DB/C developer ( databus etc...) for an initial 6mth contract (like to extend to 2-3 years...) based in the Sydney CBD. I need someone who has rights to work in Australia. It is a blue chip company, and it will be working on a back office system doing maintenance and support.

If anyone knows of anyone, or if you can do it yourself - please pm or email me at my username at zgeek dot com

Thanks all :)

What is DATABUS?
DATABUS is a high level computer language designed for writing business oriented applications. In some respects DATABUS is like COBOL, although DATABUS contains several sophisticated features that are not available in COBOL or in other business languages.

ewww, I used to program in cobol back in '86, damn stupid inflexible fussy worse compiler Ive ever used.

The databus code snippet given in the link above makes me want to :chair:

Talk about the old times ! :grr:

daily rate - up to $450/day (maybe a little more...)

kinda low hey - they really only want a developer who is in this area... unfortunately the technologies died about 10 years ago...
