Tonight while out I has some dude trying to connect to my mobile by bluetooth. It wasn't that virus thing as I managed to send him an image of tubgirl I keep on my phone for such occasions.

But I was thinking, how cool would it be if there was an application that automatically sent an image in responce to connection requests. Has anyone seen or heard of any bluetooth software thats good for messing with people? I have a nokia 6600 phone running symbian. Such a cool phone, more powerfull than my first computer. I couldn't run Doom on my pc. :D

On occasion I've scanned some busy places and 'bluejacked' people by sending them funny messages. Once in a cinema (LOTR premier) someone got a business card from Sauron. Another time I was on a bus, changed my phone's name to that of the bus company's and sent "Bon Voyage" to someone's laptop. Turns out they sat not far away from me so I could hear the confusion. Gags like this wear out pretty fast.

What Pirate is suggesting is certainly possible but I don't know if anyone has implemented it.

It's an open source platform many phones, especially Nokia but others too, use as an OS.

I keep forgetting to do this when out, I have an especially created message saved for this purpose.

A mate and I got back at a bluejacker. He sent me a message saying "Nice tits", and I heard 2 guys chuckling in the seat in front of me. So I sent them a message back saying "I can see you", and stupid them, turned around and started looking.

A simple "G'day" with me smiling at them and waving my phone right in front of them was enough to make them shit themselves, and myself laughing.

What Pirate is suggesting is certainly possible but I don't know if anyone has implemented it.

If anyone is interested, I'd be more than happy to post a bluetooth spamming program a mate and I in the process of making at the moment once it's done.

There's a nice lil midp app out there called BTExplorer, it doesn't send images, but you can whack up a simple vcard (for those who don't know, this is what bluejacking is) and it will scan and send a vcard to and phones that'll accept it...

I still find it more entertaining to manually send stuff, then you know it's you who got their attention.
