Found a place that does a nice fruit salad in galleries victoria (if you leave town hall via galleries victoria its on your right).
Its called A Salad Affair.
I'm very picky with my fruit salads which is why I never order them.... Bar the kiwi fruit which tastes a little odd (but since there is only one piece of those in each bowl I think I'll deal) its perfect!
They also sell a whole heap of pasta salads, gluten free cookies and muffins and 96% fat free yogurts, and you can get them to juice a variety of fruits.
Pretty tops.

I don't like spending any more than $6 on a salad because I know I can make my own to my liking and have it last a week for less. What are the prices like?

A small one is $3.60 or so? maybe $3.40? This one is the perfect serving size for me... its what I usually order.
A medium one is $4.70 (I discovered today I am unable to finish a 'medium' one)

I dunno, I enjoyed 'leaf'ing through it (although when it comes to buying fruit salad, I admit I'm a bit green)
I like grapes in my fruit salad, do they have those?

No grapes.
honeydew, rockmelon, watermelon, strawberries, kiwi fruit, pineapple, orange.
From memory.

hmmm, not a fan of melon myself, more into grapes, pear and also a bit of passionfruit, still, if you like your melons sounds good.

Love them.
But I never buy any because the quantity is just too much.
So this salad is perfect.

I cant have fruit salad unless it's specially prepared (i'm allergic to citrus), and most places have orange in their salads :( which sucks coz I love fruit salad.
Fruit salad at home has pretty much anything we can get our hands on. That's the joy of working at the Fresh Fruit/Veg market :)

The Asians make this wicked paw paw salad, it is shredded green paw paw, with chilli, lemon juice, crushed peanut... I can’t remember the rest of the ingredients, but it is really tasty.
