This looks pretty sexy.

1.66 GHz Dual core processor
Wifi
bluetooth
gigabit ethernet
TV out
4 USB
dual-layer DVD burner

Buy an after market digital TV recorder which should come with an online TV schedule and you'll have one sweet Tivo-esque setup. And it's the size of garden paving stone.

Apple's "what's inside spec" (http://www.apple.com/macmini/whatsinside.html)

I'd much rather a dual-core G5, if I had the cash. Those things are freakin' awesome.

I was able to use one of those in a music technology class I tool, seemed pretty nice, hadn't used a mac for several years when I started on them, but all the terminology was the same.

I'm waiting for the Intel-based iBooks. Mmmm. And I'm seriously considering the iPod Hifi

I have been looking at a mini for a while, the new ones look very nice spec wise, but im not all that thrilled with the price jump. It would be nice to have a computer that wasnt worth as much as my car for once :p

If your car costs as little as a mini, then you have to ask yourself... oh, hang on... my car costs as little as my 1st gen mini...

In other news, Cult of Mac is reporting somebody figured out how to upgrade the chip (http://wiredblogs.tripod.com/cultofmac/index.blog?entry_id=1432763) in the Intel mini.

My vote would be for a Dual core G5, damn those things look good.
But I can see why other people would go for one of these guys, they are surprisingly small and are more than enough for most people.
