Apart from the glorious Myf, Adam Hills is the perfect host, and Alan Brough is Myf's worthy foil. There is no wanky band with stupid signature tunes, no authentic cant-see-a-fucking-thing club atmosphere, and no mediocre tart looking for a film role. There is no comparison.

Though I have no problem with the Julia chick from Rockwiz, it has (when I have flicked to it) seemed like they think they're artier or more alternative than the world. You know? Like "serious" art students at Highschool.

But then I've never sat through a full episode, so I can't really judge.

But Spicks and Specks is just a really fucking good show. Well chosen guests, brilliantly chosen regulars and just some exceptionally great moments which are some of the funniest things I have seen on TV.

And for the record - I think Myf is bloody marvelous. Sure, she's not Jessica Simpson, but she's real, she's very attractive and from her JJJ work and Spicks and Specks she seems like she's a genuine, funny person.

Their both great, but I love the fact that Rockwiz is filmed in a pub and has members of the audience on the panel. makes it a little more raw.

the only thing that annoys me about Rockwiz is when they have the guess a tune section, the band will complete the song even though the buzzer has been pressed. All you have to do is press it as soon as they start playing and wait for the tune.
