well, although my cats ass is better we have to shave it regularly now and make sure all the shit is cleaned from it after he takes a crap. the drugs and stress of all this have bothered him a bit so he has taken to his bulimic habits again - he pukes up every meal within a half hour of eating. it used to be irritating but then we realized he liked leaving it to eat up again rather than re-eat fresh food.

the doctor says he should be back normal again within a few weeks. the puss has stopped running out of his ass so that is the main thing. the worry is if this problem becomes chronicly reoccuring. then we have to have his anal glands taken out. this is actually a risky operation because if there is a complication the cat becomes incontinent. then we have to deal with him shitting and pissing everywhere uncontrollably or face the fun of regularly changing kitty diapers.
