So what does everyone like for breakfast? Personally I rarely eat it, usually on a weekend or something I like to have a nice one.

So one of my faves is spinach and cheese omelette toped with smoked salmon. It is so nice.

my favorite breakfast is an omelette as well. diced potato, chorizo sausage , onion + mushroom. i have 1 at least once a week, with thick toast.
i normally eat a large breakfast every day, too make sure i have enough energy thru the day.
then i just pick a different things while at work...

the secret to a perfect omlete is having the eggs at room temperature, b4 cooking

Well I wont go into to detail but the best ever breakfast i had was in a 3 star hotel in Munich, Germany. They had:
-3 diferent hams
-aprox 5 diferent cheeses
-all possibly sandwhich ingredients (tomatoe, lettuce etc.)
-Bread rolls ( mainly rosseta rolls )
-Cereals (a few health style ones then more commercial ones)
-Eggs/Omlette (ordered to your liking)
-Sausages (really small ones, best sausages ever!!!)
-bacon
-Grilled tomatoe (ordered to liking like the eggs)
-Toast
-Approx 10 jams
-Plain yoghurt with a seperate mix-in fruit jams/syrups
-Fresh Fruits and diced fruit in syrup

Here comes the good stuff...
-CAKES!!! (mud, cheese and creme/spounge/strawberry)
-Pasteries!!!
-Doghnuts!!!

Then they had coffee and tea that they make for you and they had a variety of fruit nectar juices. My favourite was the apricot nectar.

For the 2 weeks i was there, I literally had a bit of everything each morning. I mainly had the hot eggs and bacon tho. They even provided little sandwhich bags and boxes where you can make a sandwhich or two and seal it and take it for lunch. I will never forget that hotel, was the best breakfast ever, everything was perfect and could never be matched.

I love scrambled eggs cooked Bill Grainger style - cream instead of milk, lightly beaten and cooked quickly over a high heat - simply scrummy. Very fattening though, so I only have it once a month. With a side of bacon and grilled tomato.

The Jumbo Breakfast Roll (http://www.nenya.net/gussy/Jumbo%20Breakfast%20Roll.mp3)
By Pat Shortt (http://www.patshortt.com/)

Well I wake up in the morning and I jump straight out of bed
Grab a hold of that luminous jacket and shake that fuzzy head
I dončt have time for a fancy breakfast or put muesli in a bowl
I just head to the stat oil garage for the jumbo breakfast Roll

Two eggs two rasher two sausage two Bacon Two puddins one Black and white
All placed like a tower on top of each other and then wrapped up good and
tight
If you're having some tea the milks over there and you'll find sugar in the bowl
Says she Do you want some sauce on that says I, I do in my roll

Well whether youčre a chippie or a sparkie or a brikie or a team just tarring the road.
Or a shower of lads coming home from the razz with a crowd or on your own
If you're working up a ladder or peeling pigs bladder or find yourself digging in a hole
There's no sight better than melting butter, from a jumbo breakfast roll

Two eggs two rasher two sausage two Bacon Two puddins one Black and white
All placed like a tower on top of each other and then wrapped up good and tight
If you're having some tea the milks over there and youčll find sugar in the bowl
Says she Do you want some sauce on that says I, I do in my roll

Well just the other day after me roll and tea, in me gut I got an awful ache
I went to me Doctor he said that's an artery blocker you have every morning at break
So to change my lifestyle he has me walking five miles and seeing a dietician called Noel
But I can't get from my head the sight of two runny eggs on my Jumbo breakfast roll

Two eggs two rasher two sausage two Bacon Two puddins one Black and white
All placed like a tower on top of each other and then wraped up good and tight
If you're having some tea the milks over there and you'll find sugar in the bowl
Says she Do you want some sauce on that says I, I do in my roll

Well the years have passed on and my life has changed and now I am a different man
I have lost three stone, I'm doing a line with a girl and we are both Vegetarian
My cholesterol is low and my heart is good to go, but in the morning I'd sell my soul
To sit in any stat oil fore court and devour a Jumbo breakfast roll

Two eggs two rasher two sausage two Bacon Two puddins one Black and white
All placed like a tower on top of each other and then wraped up good and tight
If youčre having some tea the milks over there and you'll find sugar in the bowl
Says she Do you want some sauce on that says I, I do in my roll

I make Breakfast burritos some Sundays. Sounds fancy but it only takes 10 minutes.

- corn tortillas
- eggs
- bacon/ham/sausage
- beans (if you want)
- red onions (if you want)
- chillis (if you want)
- shredded cheese

cook the bacon/ham and onions, scramble the eggs, add chillis to eggs, add bacon/ham and onions to eggs (diced).

Then warm tortilla 60 seconds each side on high heat. Turn heat down and add some shredded cheese to tortilla then layer in egg concotion (not much, you want to be able to fold it). Cook for 2 minutes with saucepan lid over tortilla so cheese melts.

Slide tortilla onto plate, fold it and serve.

It's a great way to say thanks to the girl in your bed who's name you can't remember ;)

Googy eggs and vegemite solders :faint: i havent had them in years! I'll make them tomorrow morning for my daughter :D (read: for me)

I rarely eat breakfast, but when I'm not being a lazy shit, breakfast is awesome.. we have pancake stacks with lemon & icing sugar on them or butter and syrup. We also have crepes with strawberries & whipped cream. I do the omelette with spinach & fetta cheese, mushrooms, sundried tomatoes & onion, served with breakfast sausages and bacon.
Lazy breakfast when people crash is bacon & eggs on toast :D (EvilMuppet and LadyAstral can vouch for this, they've had breakfast at my place before)

My usual brekky is a big fuck-off bowl of porridge with one of those small cardboard boxes (kids playlunch size) of dried fruit mixed in.

Sunday mornings I like a couple of eggs - freshly laid by my own chooks, unbeatable - poached with thick-cut toast, vegemite plus spinach, mushrooms, bacon, whatever I have lying around the place.

Coffee... strong, black, no sugar. Orange juice - freshly squeezed or 'daily juice', all other OJs are inferior.

If I can be bothered, it's a can of coke or V and some chocolate. Work supplies fruit, so it's usually a piece from the bowl.

On weekends, it's sausages, tomatoes, eggs, toast and mushrooms. Very English :)

A can of pepsi max, multivitamin tablets and two pieces of fruit eaten at my desk. Followed by either a slice of banana bread or raisin toast a few hours later and a glass of OJ, courtesy of my lovely boss.

cocopops, fruit loops and the like are good for any time of the day as far as I'm concerned... possibly best eaten at or around midnight :D
Usually it's toast with vegemite or crunchy peanut butter during the week, but on the weekends it's all out including all of the above mentioned hot foods, also adding Pirate's patented scones, pancakes or pikelets. Home cooked or cafe outing, I care not! It's just not a weekend without a big breakfast :D

weekends are special - biggest meal of the day affairs.

usual brekkies here are weetbix type cereal, vegemite toast, french toast (the boy) for the chitlens and rice with bananas cut up over the top then drizzled with honey for ed.

ed always makes the coffee in the morning and that's it for me - i eat later after all the chaos of morning/school trips, etc... is over.
