During install. the debian installer it uses can record your initial user's password, which has sudo rights. Verified installs were Normal, advanced, and server. Ubuntu and Kubuntu
$ grep -r password /var/log/installer/cdebconf
just make sure it's not seen: chmod it, delete it, put white-out on the screen, whatever.
I think the last updates Unbutu and Kubuntu did fixed it. I'm not able to see mine anymore.
