I propose that we all go to an AFL game, drink beer, eat a packed lunch, shout stuff at the players, buy some chips for $400 and generally have a grand old time.
Who is in? This is a Sydney thing, because I live 5 minutes from the stadium. And I CBF going to Melbourne for a game. unless Lina asks me to. So there.
Schedule:
Sun 9 Apr 12:30pm 9.40am v Port Adelaide
Sun 23 Apr 1:10pm 9.45am v Melbourne
Sat 20 May 7:10pm 3.45pm v Western Bulldogs
Sat 10 Jun 7:10pm 3.45pm v St Kilda
Sat 1 Jul 7:10pm TBA v Fremantle
Sun 9 Jul 1:10pm 9.45am v Adelaide
Sat 22 Jul 7:10pm 3.45pm v Richmond
Sat 5 Aug 7:10pm 3.45pm v Essendon
Sun 3 Sep 1:10pm 9.45am v Carlton
NOTE: I am not a sports buff. Me and my friend Miss Fortune went to a game last year, and by gosh, it was actually really fun. We did'nt even really know the rules, how to score, who the players were. It was just FUN.
So I say even if you hate sport, come along and check it out. You might be surprised at how much amusement can be had there.
