Allright boys and girls.

I went and bought myself a mac. A powerbook. 15" screen. 1.67ghz. 2gigs of ram. 80gb hd. dual layer dvd burner. I've popped my apple-cherry, and it's like some sort of fruit punch made with six entire cans of concentrated awesome.

Essentially what I've discovered in the past year or so is that I don't so much enjoy the PC experience as I'd become so enured to the hardships incurred from their use that I was unaware that there was a better option. One that was less akin to masturbating with a cheese grater, which - while ultimately effective - results in a great deal of chafing.

Thoughts?

First off, welcome to the fold. I am sure you'll enjoy the change.

Second, wondering why you got a PowerPC rather than the newer MacBook Pro?

First generation worries, combined with the fact that this one was a fantastic deal. $800 less than store pricing. Developer model - with only one charge on the battery.
