as far as i am aware that national geographic cover was not photoshopped. being printed in 1984 kinda has it predating the software, if nothing else.

omg does it really matter if they are photoshopped??? they're still beautiful and thats what this thread asked for.. there was no mention in the first post as to whether the photo can't be photoshopped.. it just asked for "any similiar pictures focusing mainly on the beauty and colour of the eyes".

well, one of the things i find mezmerizing about eyes are the natural colors. one thing that you see here in peru are women with eyes so brown they are almost completely dark. it is amazingly sensual. that said, there is also a recessive gene that exists which gives some people the most haunting icy blue eyes. it can be startling to see now and then.

I can't stand to look into blue eyes because they seem so alternatingly hard or bottomless.

I do have a picture where the sun is actually hitting them and they've gone a startling steel grey blue...


One thing I love is gold rings on the irises around the pupil.

I also love animal eyes.
