Can you get into the Navy if someone has a Restraining Order against you? (and no it's not me) :weed:

Restraining orders are easy to get, Trust me i know as i had one taken out against me because of my whore Ex.

I don't think it will stop you getting in but they will investigate you more than the average person without a restraining order.

Give it a shot. The recruitment numbers are falling and they are relaxing standards left right and centre these days.

Exactly. By joining the navy you are really doing what the restraining order tells you to do. I mean, you are keeping as far away from that person as you can really.

One of my neighbors is a whack-job and several months ago he pulled a gun on another neighbor. That neighbor took a restraining order out on the whack-job guy and the whack-job guy is upset because he wants to get back in to the Navy (he's 43 or 44 and he was in the Navy before) and he's nervous that this is going to prevent him from getting in.

I was just curious if it actually would prevent him from getting in or if they normally didn't give a shit.
