For those of you who are in the graphic design or similar industry where quick turnaround times are paramount, I suggest you buy this. The WACOM Intuos3 9x12 Tablet.
I've bought a cheaper version before this one, the Aiptek 12000U - what a heap of absolute shit... it died within 3 weeks.
The Intuos3 is an absolute masterpiece and essential to any serious designer.
As for my work, i'm in the screen printing industry and do a lot of work in Illustrator and Corel, some photoshop, and a whole bunch of crap in Lightwave. I've noticed my productivity has increased 3 fold...
No longer is it a chore to draw something with a mouse. Throw that fucker out the door and pick up the stylus - draw, and if you make a mistake, flip it and use the eraser end.
I cant even begin to explain how much fun it is and how customisable the tablet is... its blows the other heap of shit out of the water...
