im useing FC5 on a old amd runs at 950mhz 1gig DDR ram (single sided not dubble). want to run it as my torrent box but the comps a bit slow.

Im useing azureus atm but seems a bit funny the speed is never really stable i get amazing speed sometime like 100kbs and then 0 for a minuet or 2.

I dont have a nat prob but torrents just doesnt start DLing sometimes. even though there is no probs on the win comp.

One of my mates said to use torrent flux but i dont really need remote login stuff. and it seems a bit of a bitch to set up.

What do peoples use and is there a way to fix this prob.

P.S.

It has to have a speed scheduler.

you wont get better than azureus, i'd be looking at java problems or your network connection.

KTorrent ftw. Hands down. Even has inbuilt search.

I use Azureus. Have tried a couple of others, but in Linux, none of them have been as easy to use and monitor.

Haven't tried Ktorrent though.
