Hi guys, very long time no post - 12 weeks to be exact =).

Just a quick post to let you guys all know yesterday I graduated from the Royal Australian Navy recruit school ! Wooot.

Our march out parade was excellent, the weather held up for us (which is good, the wet weather parade routine isnt anywhere near as good as the normal one..)

I quickly grabbed a couple of photos to share with you guys, when I have more time (its bound to happen one day..) ill get around to sharing more if anybody is interested.

Mates of mine have served on the Adelaide and the Darwin before they were demobbed.

Nah mate, the CIS course is 42 weeks, and apparently you only find out where your posted when you have about 8 weeks to go.. so it will be a while.

Although I have signed up for subs, so *if* (big if) I pass the selection process.. I'd like to end up on HMAS Waller, or HMAS Rankin. But hey, I could end up on a Patrol boat for all I know, smile.

Sorry, dont think so. Big base, and mostly I have been confined to a few select areas...
