I have been recently placed in a difficult situation, I study in Melbourne but am living in Lara (temporarily - but too long now), this results in an approx. 4+ hour commute each day to attend studies - having to get up at 5am, leave at 6am, walk over 1 hour and then train over 1 hour after a full days study previous and travel home for a 11pm bedtime.
This is driving me into the ground, my studies are yet to suffer in grades but I am noticing a lack of study opportunity and even less time for relaxation. I am becoming very tired and with my end of year exams coming up soon I am worried about my performance for them.
I am seeking a shortish-term stay somewhere in Melbourne (close enough to public transport) in the Zone 1 area (Zone 2 is OK, but not preferable), likely until December. A single room is all I am after, and basic facilities - ie. to cook, bathroom and electricity for a computer.
I am a 23 year old male, and am quite capable of looking after myself. While I am able to hold a conversation and enjoy a social life, at this time in my life I am not a big social person as I have sacrificed that for my grades.
Please, if anyone is capable of helping out a fellow ZGeek in his most important time of education, PM me.
Thank You All, Xythan.
