Hey all, just posting a bit of spam. I'm sure no one minds ;)
This is something the company I work for has done for Telstra, so that's the only reason I'm plugging it. From what I can tell it seems like decent value for what it is, cheaper than a ringtone anyway...
It's like the 3 service, when people call you they will hear music instead of the normal ring ring. Hence the whole 'callertone' thing.
The first month free, and a free song when you join which is the shitty Telstra song, but you get a choice of 5 I think to replace that with. The monthly charge is $1.95. Not entirely sure what the tones cost, but from memory they weren't that much. Still if you don't like it you can ditch it before the first month is up.
The Telstra web site doesn't seem to have any details about the service (what a surprise), but I found the URL: www.bigpond.com/callertones
I know there are a lot of people that aren't Telstra fan's out there, but this is for those that actually have a Telstra handset.
The boys at work have worked damn hard for a quite a while on this so I thought I'd do my bit and put it out there.
