Remake of the Century?

Pros

- Fixed Controls
- Sonic Cannon/Grenades for Troops
- Scary as FUCK environments and music (played in the dark as a kid)

Cons

- No "Free Ammo" (Laser Rifles)
- Calcinites (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calcinite) and Tentaculats (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tentaculat)
- Hard as FUCK

No chainsaws

Pros:

Chainsaws (Well, drills)

Cons:

Technologies are copy of first game, with new names
You only find out half the guns don't work on land when you try to fire them on land
Most of the enemies were a direct copy of enemies from the first one
Game eventually degenerated into wave after wave of boring base invasion unless you rushed to get fusion defence and grav shield
Molecular Control (seriously, molecular control? Fuck, that's stretching it, you bastards. I wouldn't have minded a psionic comeback, like you did in FUCKING APOCALYPSE, YOU TURDS)

Research trees that lead you into a dead end so that you can't finish the game.

X-Com was far, far superior.

enemy unknown is the best game in the series and still is even the newer releases in the xcom series are shit in comparsion , meh all they have to do is remake the original with some updated graphics, (decent graphics not cartoony shit like what they are coming out with now days) full 3d camera , mod support and mulitplayer + Coop and you have a winnar
