Excel cell locking

Anyone know how to lock a cell in Excel once it has a formula in it - so that well-meaning employers might be able to use it without deleting my hard work?

Searched help, net, preferences etc etc, but I just want to be able to protect the formulas.

Any ideas?

Click on TOOLS then PROTECTION and you might want to select the option to ALLOW USERS TO EDIT RANGES so that the worksheet is locked off for the formula sections but the users can still modify other cells
