I was really shocked after doing a search, to not find this band in the music section (at least) of ZGeek.

Took me a good deal of time to appreciate this band. Gone Daddy Gone ( Violent Femmes cover) really did it for me. Anyone with the good taste and grey hairs to remember, I hope, will appreciate the effort it took to cover not only such a classic, but the style and appreciation of Funkadelic and Parliament so obvious in this album. Of course the originality of Necrophilia and Monster make this an album worth paying for.

As you said, it takes a bit of time to like. I can't say I do really like "listening" to it as such, but I do quite like it as background music

I bought this album on the strength of their superb cover of Gone Daddy Gone by The Violent Femmes. From the minute I bought it I haven't stopped playing it. The whole album is full of flavours you would never have thought to mix together in your head in such a short space of time.

Buy it please. (pm me else)

And the new album, The Odd Couple is, I think, even better! Thanks Elf!
