well from everyone I have talked too, most MMO players nowdays (around 80 - 90%) have multiple toons and are happy to play around and spend a lot of time with them.

It seems uncommen for MMO players to stick to a single character, and mostly thats because of time constraints, but thats just my observation.

HOnestly never played a MUD, played Realm 59, Ultima Online, Star Wars Galaxy, Matrix Online, World of Warcraft and Auto Assault. (by play I mean purchase & Subscribe for 3 months or more, not just free trial time.) Just showing off my inner nerd.

Im playing on Dath'Remar Horde (of course) and have a 60 lady undead warrior and 58 tauren shammy. Used to be a Proudmoore man (60 rogue) but after an 8 month hiatus from wow some time ago I needed a fresh start in Oceania. Then after Khazgoroth began to crash non-stop and make me wait 4 hours in a queue of millions for a game I transferred out with my guild. If you play on Dath and want a guild Vegemight are a good bunch. Look up Coldthunder, Coldsoul or Lebowski if you play on dath.

Half ya addons wont work with "Before the Storm" due to the changes they made to the macro and scripting system.

Look for them again and hope they have been updated is ya best bet.

As for the PvP....Im with Styg. Same Battlegroup. Look for Manshoon (Rogue) and Ashonmon (Warlock).

Not really. It just tells you which quests to do at what time and in what order.
It should work for pretty much any class, but yeah, it certainly centres around troll hunters :)

it's all out of whack for me because i have been playing with higher level people and they've been sharing quests so i've done patches here and there already. I'll just stick to what I've been doing - killing stuff and going 'ooh!' when the yellow writing pops up to say 1/10 :D hehe

Not really Buffy - ya just use the list as a guide. *grin* Joana/Mancow focuses on speed, so doesn't really factor in when you wander off to do a SFK run or two just to shake things up a bit.

Personally, I found that I was levelling faster than Joana was - which probably meant I spent too much time randomly grinding than following the guide anyways.

Anyone else notice WoW running like crap since the 2.0.3 patch ? My Work PC (Cel 2.5G, 512Mb, GeForce4MX440 64Mb) was runnig WoW fine before xmas, after patching up to 2.0.5 today, the login screen (with the flickering fires) has bad, heavy pausing (upto 40 secs a stop) and when I finally get in game the pausing isn't as bed, but still mind-numbingly horrenduss.

I was enjoying playing my BE till I realised just how much cash drops off mobs in the new instances in Outland (i'm already up to 300g) and how fast everyone else is getting to 70. I'm doing my best to catch up. ;)

I dont know where else to post this but after avoiding it for years I finally went and got a copy of wow. Sign up, install, create character and logon to the dath'remar realm and the second time I sit down to play it i am 800th in the queue!!!

wtf???? I am still on my first months free access and I am expected to pay $15 a month for this shit??? Don't get me wrong I have no dramas paying money each month to keep it growing but a 1/2 hour wait to get in to the game? and then I find out it is $25 to changr from one realm to another?

Wierd that - Proudmoore used to be crowded as, these days things are dead there. I actually returned to the game for a brief while, discovered how quiet my old server was and couldn't get excited enough about the game to stay. The other two server where I have lvl 60+ alts are all crowded the way I remember things to be though.

Outland is crowded.....Azeroth is dead. No queues because they raised the player cap. And it was quiet because half the time you were on we were all raiding!! :)

FYI. Atm I am experimenting with different talents to find what suits my playing style. Next I am trying a ret/prot mix. Seems everyone has an opinion on ret. Whaaa waaah waah. :D

I've found gearing like a warrior (strength/crit) is the way to go when speccing ret. Can get 1k +regular hits and some pretty insane burst damage when the hit, Seal of Command and Crusader Strike all crit, while avenging wrath and bloodlust brooch are active with a 3 stack of vengence (love the change last patch (or whenever it was).

The Lamellar set is very odd, it's like a tanking set, for PvP.

Alas, I am a healadin, always have been, always will :)

I usually tank with my pally which is why I am getting the gear I have. I don't have the time for raiding so my epics gotta come from pvp.

Today Im playing with the holy tree. Seeing the holy damage of my gear. Doing around 700 damage per hit. Heals at 3000 critting at 5000. Only played two matches so far.

My play style also needs tank. I like running into the battle and pissing people off. Then running back so they all follow me. The longer I last the more ground we take.

Try playing a resto shaman. In an EotS game last night a rogue spent about 5 mins 1v1 with me trying to kill me.......I spent my time laughing at him.

Then his mage and warlock friend arrived and between the stuns and the counterspells they finally managed to kill me. Tho it was highly amusing.
