Moving to Brisbane

Hello everybody! Just thought i would post this up incase anyone new of a good place to stay up there. My girlfriend and i are looking to move to Brisbane well as soon as something comes up. At the moment we will be studying in Brisbane (ill be at QUT and she will be at Shafston) while living on the Gold Coast and just commuting, which sucks balls.

Anyway if anyone knows anything let me know... thanks :P

Why are you living in the Gold Coast if you are studying in Brisbane? It's quite a long distance to get to the uni.

Ain't that the truth... The fact that the GC sucks arse, has no night life and is filled with wannabes and fakery should also be taken into account.

If you are studying at Gardens Point (city campus) QUT and she is at Shafston you would probably be wise to look for a rental around Norman Park or near there. East Brisbane is good but the prices might be inhibitive if you are fulltime students.
