So, it seems that ms has been quoted as saying in confessional...
i confess ed's been asked if he'll move to Sydney to head up a project.
Tonight i guess we'll have alot to talk about :P...then possibly packing.
This is a blasphemy, and would surely ruin Melbournite Zgeekery, this must be stopped! I am aiming the spearhead, let us see where it lands...

It took me years to find a family that'll let me throw their children across a room.
I vote no on Prop. 337.

I've never been to Melbourne but I don't like Sydney, It'd be nice to have more Zgeeks in one state though & that state should be NSW because it's already the dominant Zgeek state & I also I have no intention of moving.

i declare that they cannot move
why?
because as yet, i've never attended a zmeet, and ms and ed are two of the melbourne crew that i'd want to meet!
so.. that means you're stuck in melbourne forever, or at least until i attend a zmeet
(coz i'm so important lol)
edit: i voted yes though, because it sounds like a really good opportunity for ed. I'm such a hypocrite, sorry!
Ed should commute, you'll never find anywhere to live there :P

Nah Melbourne's too funky for someone like me. ;) I'd stick out like a sore thumb.

Sydney weather > Melbourne weather.
Otherwise id be moving to Melbourne in a flash (as would about 2 million other people)
If Melbourne could just pack up and shift their entire city to around Coffs Harbor, it would be perfect!

did you read my message at all?
i did say that they'd probably never end up moving out of melbourne if it was dependant upon me attending a zmeet
and no i'm not coming tomorrow :p

You guys.
Seriously, It isn't concrete until we decide and get some details nutted out. I love melbourne and would hate to leave it - but let's face it - if our rent and move will be paid for that's a nice incentive.
And unless something came along while we were there - we'd be coming back eventually.
In the meantime, Blueboy is always welcome to come throw our kids around here or there.

Yeah so update/end thread.
Mexican geekers would know already, as of yesterday evening ed's been asked to stay here. :P
...i should have phrased that "we said no way we're moving, the people in melbourne are just too awesome."
