The first ever Television Review on ZGeek...according to the folder...it is empty.
Anyways, on to business.
The show of Rockwiz Live, which will be on tomorrow night (yes, this review was posted from the future :p ), was an absolute blast. Played as the opening to Moomba 2007, this was a joy to be a part of.
Opened by none other than the Lord Mayor John So, it moved on to a great replaying of "Long Way to the Top" with the Melbourne City Pipe Band. Awesomeness abound.
After James Reyne and Kat Spazzy sang some good oldies they joined the teams for some quizzing. After a long and drawn out choosing of individuals to battle with the teams the two closest but losing quiz possibles were thrown into the "Sling Shot" for a great laugh by all (and a sigh that it wasn't them in that death ball).
An interlude of Missy Higgins and the Kelly brothers (and some violinist I don't know) played a ballad of the outback polished the middle off nice, and it all went back to the questions.
It was finished off by a big sing in by all the guests joined by the band members, host and "kwiz master" which was ace.
Then, for what they stated as their last appearance the night was topped off by Daddy Cool. Very cool. The old farts, LOL. Twas the last ever live performance of Eagle Rock!
Hope you tune in and enjoy it tomorrow!
