hey
was just wondering, with a touchscreen phone, how hard is it to break the screen? i have an o2 atom and i'm sick of having to use a largeish case for it to have a hard screen protector... so how fragile is the screen? i usually just keep wallet and phone in my pocket but it's an expensive phone so i dont want it wrecked.....

I had a touch screen PDA a few years back. It was in my bag at uni. A friend threw their bag on top of mine. The corner of one of my textbooks went into the screen and cracked it. A new screen would have cost more than a new PDA.
My advice - keep the cover on. If they were tough enough to survive without one, they wouldn't come with one.
I've had a JASJAM for half a year now. Its a pretty tough phone. At first, I was really careful with it but these days, it goes into pockets with keys or in a sports bag packed in with keys and coins and generally beat up on it and apart from finger smudge marks, is in pretty much new condition. Your O2, i'm guessing, would be the same. Personally I wouldn't bother with a protective cover but that said, I always figured that if i broke mine, i'd just get something else.

well i'm basically just going to keep it in my pocket, not going to throw it into corners or keys or anything... so i suppose it'll be fine??? be real fuckin bad if i broke it :D
