3m at training pace 25ish mins

Conditions : 22-23, windy

Surface : Mix of concrete, grass and rough stone steps

Route : Ran from work down the valley to the creek and back up again

Run report : Beautiful clear winters day, so much better than running at night. A good steady pace, didn't push too hard at all, towards the end I started to get a bit of a cramp in the back of the top of my leg, did some stretching tonight and it feels okay, nothing major I'm sure, rest day tomorrow then a pace day and a long run day.

Starting to stretch out a bit more now... 45 minute 8k run before work this morning. I'll try and keep to that pace and extend the time a little each week.

Funny, I had quite a niggling soreness in my left quad driving into the gym this morning, but after my run it has completely gone... no-doubt it will show up again tomorrow morning.

you should consider shortening the mileage a bit every third week or so to let your body cash in on the gains it has made.

and keep an eye on any and all such little pains. this is how injuries start and documenting them like this can help you piece together what might have caused them.
