11M Long Slow day
Conditions : 18 clear, sunny
Surface : concrete, grass, some sandstone steps, tar, wood desking/walkway
Route : Randwick to Coogee, coast path to Bondi, then back to Coogee and up to South Coogee headland round the oval, along to Maroubra then back to Coogee up North Coogee headland and back to Coogee Bay Road to Randwick. and along Avoca Street back home.
Run report : The weekly long run, got up early for some Sultana Bran and poached pears with strong coffee, let that go down for a couple of hours headed out about 10ish, felt solid on the run down to Coogee and Strong all the way to Bondi, kept the pace down and my strides short and smooth with a focus on keeping my impact down especially down hill, tried to hit the grass and wood walkways a lot of the way heading back from Bondi I slowed down a bit but picked up the pace heading up to Maroubra and finished with a solid pace up the hill back home hit around 20-21K all up. Lots of walking this arvo I am really hungry so Pizza tonight! Cheese me!
