Same for me... ironing out the kinks from the previous day's long run. Felt nice and relaxed.

8K in I don't know how long, walked down the hill to nurse my knee. Saturday, did a 10K hike with my bro. Knee is holding up okay going for a longer run tomorrow to see how things are progressing. fingers crossed.

have you considered weight-work? its sounding more and more like your quads are simply not at the strength level the rest of your body is ready for.

Yeah, I've thought about that, the exercises that the physio has me doing are strength work.
It's not so much that my quads aren't strong enough, it's that they are inbalanced because of my flat feet.
Orthodics and more strength work will fix it... but just how long it will take will effect the training (I.E if I can go back to training full capacity) I just have to do my best really.

i'd say get healthy and simply target that 20-miler a month out from the race.
