Wet, wet, wet... and not in a "cover a troggs song" sense.
Not cold though... I had long sleeves on but certainly didn't need them. Was only slated for a quickie today but was enjoying myself too much to turn back, so it ended up being slightly longer than I'd intended. 11km, just over an hour, so fairly moderate pace-wise. To be expected given the soggy surface and twisty, windy tracks.
Fun thing about running in the rain up here is all the tourists (tourii?) wear these big heavy rain jackets which shroud them in even more cluelessness than usual. Watching them snap to when they finally realise there's 200lb of human monolith hurtling towards them is a treat.
Felt really good today, real spring in my step. Hope I can maintain that.
