DOMS is just your body's way of telling you "You did good kid, take the day off".

My Monday was miserable too, but the ligament feels like it's getting better. Got through a boxing class today with a fair number of full sprint shuttles and no soreness. Ease back into a run tomorrow and Thursday, then maybe tackle the 12k again on Friday.
