Gran Turismo 4 Rumours...

GT4 -- Rumors
According to several online gaming sites, including Magic Box, rumors are flying out of Japan claiming that Gran Turismo 4 will feature 2,000 cars, more than 100 tracks, and be fully compatible with the PS2 Network Adapter. The game is said to have a new online battle mode which allows up to eight players simultaneously. Rumors also suggest the inclusion of online car trading, and full support for voice chat using a compatible headset. All of these are rumors at this point, but expect more on Gran Turismo 4 at the fast approaching E3 in May. Expect more details leading up to the event also. Thanks to IGN.

I too have heard this rumour, as well as a PC version of it that will be called GT Unlimited.

I swear, there REALLY needs to be a new realistic PC driving sim. The fact that there isn't one that is newer/better than NFS5 is the only reason why I have not upgraded my PC...

golf, no... Having said that, if you like 'em more power to ya.

GT4 will be a definate purchase, although it's getting a bit complicated these days, too many f**king cars and mods and criterea. AHHHHH!

Old golf games on the Amiga etc were cool. Even Microsoft golf for Windows 95 was decent. They were just plain old fun games that dealt with physics inside gaming very well, calculating distances, angles etc.

I'd love to see GT3 on the PC, but i highly doubt that it would, methinks that it is just that, a rumour. If it did come out i think it would rival doom3 for the upgrade-your-pc for a single game.

The sheer size to port it though would be insane tough. I'll be happy with the PS2 release though. :D :D :D
