Warmachine and Hordes

Out of all the gaming systems I've played this one from the pirates at Privateer Press would have to be the most fun for me personally. It's the only place that has a motto "Play Like you have a Pair".

Where else can you have a 6ft tall werewolf pick up and throw a 10 ton steam powered robot at you. All the while having Ninjas, Pirates, and Undead Pirates all fit into the same place and make perfect sense.

Oh and the women in the game usually only wear Chainmail bikinis

I also love this game. I play the Warmachine side of it but sometimes against a Hordes army. Using a Magnus the Traitor mercenary force which is oh so slowly getting painted.

The Renegade is awesome value, I am thinking of getting a another one or two and just taking an all renegade jack army. Obliterator with knockdown and a chainsaw that gets another free attack every time it does damage can kill just about anything, often in one turn.

Herne Stoneground & Arquebus Jonne and an Ogrun Bokur are also brilliant in any merc force, I reckon Herne and Jonne must have the highest kill rate in my army so far. Every game they take more than their fair share of kills.

Its obviuos but curious have you got Epic Magnus?

He's so much cooler now that he's gone Epic.

Gotta say Killbox and Lethargic would be the best parts of EMagnus

Killbox is his feat

Summary you pick two sides of the board the enemy is not allowed to move towards those board edges.

Lethargic

Upkeep until Lethargic is removed the unit gets -2 Mat Rat and STr, on the turn the spell expires the said units gets their stats returned to normal in addition to +2 Mat rat and str for one turn.

Tis truly a great game.

Also of note about Emagnus you may want to know too Hippy is that his fist has stagger (Warjacks lose initial attacks this round) and disruption so if your in need of some additional defense just walk up to some heavy enemy jack whack it with your fist and sit pretty since it can't attack back next turn

His sword has Armour Piercing, Powerful Attack and Stall pick and choose each ability by paying focus to activate.

that fist + a renegade is an awesome combination. still havent got eMaganus and still havent finished painting my force :( getting there though.
