Okay, I'll admit that there is something going on between Snowball and I and it is due to zgeek. Well it's actually due to Sperm, one day we were chatting and had a conversation something like this:

Sam: No bloody way
Sperm: why not, you two would get on well together, he's really funny

girlgeek & boygeek were together beforehand, and so were Twist & I. Lujan & Ivy got together through the site I guess, but had worked together before that at the place Pirate (and others) used to work.

For the rest of the list, I'm not totally sure, but most of them that I know of met either at the site, or at zmeets via friends who frequent the site.

DumHed and I are together entirely because of ZGeek. The story goes (and it's really lame) that we had chatted a lot on msn/irc and through email before the ZMeet last year and had got to know each other fairly well and were good friends etc. So I'm all excited about coming to the meet and getting to know everyone even better in person, but I was not expecting any more than that.

I think some part of me knew as soon as I saw him (since he picked me up from the airprot in the blue silvia of doom) that there was something there but the larger part of me ignored it. What really made me realise however was later in the evening when we were (drunkenly) running around the golf course near the then ZHouse and he tried to carry me over the ditch at the bottom, but instead tripped and we both ended up in the mud. He helped me up anyway even though it got him all dirty :) Something about that, I don't know what...

Anyway, end of ZMeet arrives inevitably and we're both all sad even though I make many promises to visit whenever I can (as does he). After a couple of weeks being back in Melbourne I realise I'm not going to be happy with just that so I consider my options. My uni course would be finished forever in just under two months, and I'm planning to quit my dead end job and get something with better prospects. I decide 'Move to Sydney....well why not? I've nothing keeping me here and every reason to go'

So that's exactly what I did, giving everyone 6 weeks notice that I was moving 1000km away. And I haven't looked back ever since.
