I sense a theme is forming.

So what is your opinion on fifth? I haven't actually played 40k on tabletop since Rogue Trader rules but after reading the Gaunts Ghosts novels I am seriously tempted to start an IG army, an army that I dismissed as boring, not sci-fi and freaky enough back in the day, fuck they are some good books.
If I could afford to and had the time I would love to get an IG force just to paint it especially all the tanks. (speaking of which, Xythan where is your Baneblade?)
Have you played Armageddon is it just another ploy to get fanboys to spend a bucket load of money?

5e is cool, but I am on a bit of a hiatus right now due to just not being in a 40k mood. It sped a lot of the game up by getting rid of a lot of ambiguous situations and annoying rules. But since I never played anything other than 4e I don't think I can comment much beyond that.

The new Space Marines Codex is looking a bit...odd...not sure how she plays yet. I'll ask around next time I'm at GW or the local gaming club.
