How many of you have experienced weird unexplained things? For example, doors opening and closing.....voices when noone is there.....lights turning themselves on.....catching glimpses of things moving when you are alone.

We have had a lot of weird things happen in the house we are in now.
The freakiest I would have to say was when my eldest daughter said she saw a small child go up the hallway then into her room(which she shared with the baby at the time). When she went into the room there was noone there and the baby was asleep.

Numerous times we would find the youngest chatting away to something or someone in the corner of the room near the roof.

Appliances(computers, the tv, the microwave) have all been turned off at the wall.

There used to be an almost constant feeling of being watched.

OK. Now you have freaked me out.

I have had stuff turned off without anyone doing it, or have come out at night to find the kitchen cupboards a bit open...

OK, now I am scaring myself. I'm such a pansy.

When I was about 7 I used to see "people". One night I woke up and there was a couple standing at my bedroom door, it looked like they were talking about me - they were late teens and she had long blonde hair (a bit like Marcia Brady) and he had shoulder length dark hair (yes, it was the 70's). Another time a baby ran towards me. To this day I know what I saw and it's clear in my mind - even though my sister and aunty ridiculed me I stand by what I saw.

Ten years ago I lived in a flat with was once a Victorian mansion that had been converted into flats. Things used to go missing but the bizarre thing was they were kitchen utensils.

I think the ZHouse has something in it. I am constantly seeing things out the corner of my eye of something moving down our hallway. Thats why I had my cam on for days at a time hoping I'd catch something. I usually feel a presence when I am in the dining and kitchen area.. sometimes the pc room.

I am prolly being paranoid, but I have had experiences like this before and I have seen enough to know that ghosts are real. I don't believe in the spirit stuff and I put them down to natures own holographic recordings of us (hence they repeating patterns they take and limited locations.. plus the interference they can have over electrical stuff).

One house I am familiar with has a barrier in the kitchen, my best mate watched as the house owner demonstrated it... the story goes... BTW this is my best mate, he has shown me the house, I can show it to others.. hes got no reason to lie and he has more than one person who has seen it.

In the kitchen of the house, it has some sort of field in it. If you stand on one side of it and poke your arm through it, all the hairs on your arm will goose-bump in a perfect line, you can withdraw and insert your arm to see them raise and lower.

I also lived in a haunted house in burma where the resident ghost really didn't like locked doors.. so much so you'd be sitting in the bog and you could watch the latch undo itself and slide open. Was quiet freaky and fucking annoying especially when you where rocking out a big one.

I got heaps more.. but I'll save those for later.

I used to get quite a few premonitions about myself earlier in life.

Nowadays, it's just thinking that i'm getting private convo in irc, when i'm not.

ah well.

When I was about 16, I was at my aunty's house in the country. This house has quite a history. You frequently hear wood chopping noises and someone (I cannot remember who it was) told me that they saw an old lady chopping wood once. Anyway, There were a few of us staying, namely myself, my aunty, a toddler cousin my sister and my parents, it was about 2 in the morning and we were all asleep. I heard my aunty making a bit of a fuss so I went to investigate. She was stressed for some reason (?) and she just had to check the child (3 years old), we went into the room where the child was sleeping, and he wasn't there. The window was open, which was a high window, I couldn't reach it without a chair, and everyone was sure that the window was closed, there was no visible ladder used by the toddler, terrified and fearing the worst, we ran out screaming to the front, and here he is, riding his bike. When we asked him what he was doing he replied "We were just playing, she said it would be okay!!"
Not long after my aunty sold the house to move into the city, because her mother was put into a nursing home. That was the last night I spent at the house. Shame really, that could have been pretty fun.

The house where my parents used to live at currumbin had a ghost. It was a 2 storey house, and we used to always hear a knock on the door and when we went to answer it there was noone there. About 3 months after it started happening, we found out the previous owner(my first boyfriends father) had died of cancer around the time the knocking started. So the next time mum heard it and noone was there, she just nicely said "Look, you don't live here anymore, you're dead" we never heard it again.

On another note, has anyone got any photos with weird orb shapes in them. Ones that have no explanation about how it got there.

When I was about 7 or 8 my sisters sent me upstairs to get
a particular barbie doll for her (I lived with 4 women, I did what
I was told!). I was rifling through all the different barbies trying
to find the right one (difficult when all Barbies are identical) and
a voice said in my ear,"Well have you found it yet?"

"Not yet," I muttered back,"Still looking."

"Hurry up," the voice said back.

It's then I realised I didn't recognise the voice, and I turned
around and nobody was there. In the same room about a year
later my sister swore she saw a man struggling to get through
her window..... the room was on the second floor and there is
no way to get up to it without a very tall ladder. My sister used
to sleepwalk alot when she slept in that room, and when she
was younger my mother found her once trying to get out through
the locked door to outside in the middle of the night, and when
asked what she was doing replied,"I have to go back to my
real family now."

It was kind of creepy, but we moved out of the house a long
time ago and I've never felt anything like that in this house.

The only thing I can think of that's unexplained in my eyes was when I was helping a mate move houses ages ago. I bet it's fifteen years. Never one for ghost stories myself, this is nothing exciting.

I went upstairs to the bog and on the landing was a coloured mist. You know when the sun catches a windscreen/shield? And all thoise nice colours refract? I think it's like some plastic or something to stop the glass from shattering as much?

Anyway, this mist was like that. It was dark but not totally dark. At first I thought it was just blood pushing on my eye sockets/optic nerves/whatever after exerting myself a bit. But I moved around it and moved my eyes about and the thing just stayed in the same place.

I wasn't scared or anything, I was more like: "Hmmmm, that's strange." Walked round it and went for a piss. Came back, nothing there.

Told my mate and his wife, girlfriend at the time, and she said the guy that had the house before had died. I asked "In it?" and she said she didn't know. Later I realised that the chain was cut on the front door. I guess that this was how someone had got in after he'd died.

I live in my basement which backs onto bushland...

I get freaked out by everything, normally i can hear "things" outside, i just get to sleep and ignore it, but sometimes ive heard people moving around on the concrete bit and talking. I get up open the door and nothings there... its etch :(

most of the time when i hear noises and weird weird noises its just possums having a fight of different animals. My eyes go really umm.. wild at night, like i will see a shape and cos its so dark my eyes will convert it into a possible human shape or something, its scary.

I havent been in a situation where ive seen a ghost or heard voices. But i get de ja vu way too often, and sometimes i think im awake, walking around e.t.c only to find out im actually asleep. and i dont sleep walk :(

I have many stories of such phenomenom.

I had a stranger walk up to me in a store once. She told me that I "saw" things that weren't there, and I was having problems with one inparticular! She told me I was a sensitive. And NOT to take that haunted tour that I'd been thinking about. I shit you not! She also told me to start wearing silver, something about it kept the "spirits" at bay. And that they can follow you. I wear silver to this day and her advice helped rid me of the "thing" that was giving me trouble.
I'll go into that later.

A few years ago I had this scary yet a very interesting moment when I was walking on the street on my way back to home.

It was summer evening, not very dark evening... so this couple was walking towards me on the street and suddenly I felt like I was going to pass out, everything blackened for a second.

I felt dizzy but kept walking and I noticed that I saw veins on the couple's bodies, big red and green veins on their chests, smaller green veins thick in the head, green on the arms and bigger red veins on their legs. Blue, not so visible veins were everywhere on their bodies and all the veins were glowing a little.

Weirdest thing is that I didn't see the veins anywhere else except on their bodies.

I have some more weird stories that I might post later.

This is a story in two parts.
I went to Port Arthur just before Martin Bryant got his jollies by killing people. It was the eeriest place I had ever been. It was like I was enveloped in pain, suffering and death. It really felt like I had been there before. I seemed to know what everthing was before I read all the signs. My brother felt the same way and we left rather quickly exchanging confused, worrying glances at each other. All the way back to Hobart the conversation was about reincarnation.
Another one was after a game of Cricket in Adelaide (groan away!, I was a cunning spin bowler!) after the obligatory few beers some Uni guys who were in our team invited us to their new rental house for cones and beer. They were stoked at its location to the city and how cheap it was. I walked in and a shiver ran up my spine. Later I found out that a husband had shot his wife, his kids and himself about a year before in this house. That was why it was cheap. Dead souls do linger I think.Certain personalities pick up the vibes while others do not.
I called a cab about an hour later and slept fitfully that night.

I don't believe in ghosts. For a very simple reason too. I have many friends who do believe in such occurrances, and these are people who I wouldn't expect to believe in the supernatural at all, so my reason for not believing is as simple as being because I haven't seen anything that spooked me in the correct way yet.

I'm a strong believer in science. Given that, if anybody tries to push the supernatural or religion on to me I simply point out that just because we have not found a way to explain it yet doesn't mean it can't be. Our science and knowledge is still very VERY limited.

I would love to visit some of these places people have mentioned, see these things for myself. Until then, I will not believe - but I also choose not to speak degradingly of those who do as, as I said, it is simply because I myself have not experienced the same things as them yet.

When they happen they spook you, but I have never really 'felt' a presence. I agree that there has to be a scientific explination for everything.
ie. Jupiter lined up with Mars and it reflected off out atmosphere, making it seem that there was a ghost around etc.
I saw a doco once about thins, they built a house underneath 2 large power poles and set up a hidden camera in the house. Becuase of the magnetic energy that came from the poles, there were times when metal objects moved and somethimes it looked like shapes appeared out of nowhere.
They then spilled some jargon about the 'electromatic waves' or something.

This happened to me when I first moved to London. I was reading a book and the main character's mother lived in Chelsea during WWII was killed in the Blitz - while I reading it I just "felt" like I knew exactly what the writer was talking about. At the same time I was reading the book I went to The Museum Of London, when I went to the WWII section I felt like I'd seen it all before. There was even a 1940's shop counter and I just felt like I'd been there.

I've always felt close to my grandmother - not close as in friends (well, that too) but close as in loved hearing her stories about being young and when the war was on and I love looking at old photos.

There was a show on in London (it also screened in Australia on SBS) called The 1900's House where they bought an old terrace and made it an exact replica of how the house would've been in 1900, then they put a family in there to live for three months as a 1900 family would have. I was intrigued, it was all so familiar.

I used to live in a girls group home in Tarragindi when I was 13, it was run by the Baptist church. One night the other girls had been doing a seance in the bedroom downstairs whilst I was getting a lecture about spending bus money on cigarettes upstairs in the office.

Later that night when I was drying my hair before going out, I felt like someone else was in the room with me, to the point where everyone came running because they said they heard me screaming at someone to get out(I can still not fully remember yelling). But at about 3am the girl I shared the bedroom with had a picture of her uncle on the wall standing beside her horse, the picture fell off the wall, and god only knows how it didn't smash. But her uncle was the one they had been trying to contact in the seance.

That's an interesting movie. . .
The audio is by far the most creepy.

I'm certainly one to stick by science as not only a basis of what we already know, but a meathod to understand what we don't know. Something being "beyond science" is really something just not having enough evidence or grounds to understand within scientific meathods (yet).
I also believe that if there's something unknown, one should leave a blank spot instead of making a guess, because it's the only sure way to have an understanding of the universe we live in. The 'blank spot' also goes into religion and philosophy, but that's not what this thread is about, so I won't get off track.

The way I see it, "paranormal" things happen. They are observable - but only through a small window so far, because we don't understand what such things really are yet. To be intrested in such things doesn't have to mean that you believe in ghosts, it can just mean that there's crazy shit that's observable, and one can be curious.

I had a friend in Savannah, Georgia (full of haunted spaces) that lived in a house where 4 small children died of smallpox. Ghosts have a penchant for coins. Preferrable pennies. The children would "take" small macdonals toys. They's just disappear. In their place they'd leave pennies. There's a saying somewhere that pennies are a form of good luck. ?

I have a 6th sense. It is not as clear as it was in puberty, but I still get images and 'video clips'.

When I was in the 4th grade, (I lived on an airforce base in Guam) we had some new neighbors move in. On the day that all the kids went over (see military brats know about this) I knew each new child's name and their favorite activity. I blew everyone away when I introduced them to everyone.

When I was in the 5th grade, I knew of my parents divorce before they did. Knew the name of my father's soon to be wife and kids.

When I was in the 7th grade, I had a "dream" of events in a certain class. For days it drove me crazy, then one morning I walked into that class and everything came to pass as it had in the dream. With one exception, I did subtitles. 15 ppl witnessed that event. I said what they were going to before they could get the words out of thier mouths!

Now, I just get "jpeg" images. Or mostly feelings of dejavu. I know when somethings wrong with those I love. I see unclear jpeg images before they happen and it's not till after they happen that I say, WTF!

596 King st Newtown, Three storey split level BAD HOUSE!!

It used to be the Vibe Tribe house. Anyway I lived there for about three months. There was a set of stairs that had the worst cold feeling on them no matter what time of day/temperature.

My room was next to the bathroom at the top of these stairs. I heard crying outside my door several times only to find no-one there. I slept there only one night out of the three months. That one time i kept getting image flashes that i couldnt see but made me feel sick.

Apparently someone had been raped and killed on the stairs.

Mcdonald Town Station, Tunnel under it leading from the westbound platform.

I borrowed a digi cam for a while back in 1998 and was taking some nice shots of the tunnel (its kinda old looking with exposed lighting) i took 3 shots with one step between shots.

The first shows the tunnel nothing in it, same with the third. The second however shows a mist accross the path. Looking at the mist it is actually someone running accross the path looking straight at the camera. The face is still and clear but the body is in motion.. (unfortunatley i lost the image in a HDD crash)

You've all freaked me out

the house i live in with my parents has a ghost, my dad saw it one morning and a few strange things happened that week also (people yelling from outside, knocks on doors) dad saw the ghost in my room (which i'm sitting in now) and my sister and i have both felt it at different times.

We think its benevolent, it was a young girl, who didnt do anything, just watched. Of course its an old house (118 years ), and had many people live in it over time, its last owner died inside the house.

I am one of these people who sees things, as is my father and my sister, my father seems to pick things up more than i do though, when he meets someone for the first time for example, he'll see their aura. While he was writing his thesis he did a lot of research on the QVB in sydney, its architect committed suicide and he says while he was looking through the basement there one night he had a definite presence there which stuck around him til he left. Another time we had something stay with us while we were traveling around NSW, VIC and SA. It latched onto us while we were walking through a homestead at wilpenna pound and stuck with us til we got to adelaide.

I've had some pretty hairy experiences too, its kinda made me a really highly strung, jumpy person so i dont stick around long when i feel "something" thesedays

I was lying in bed the other night and the bed side lamp started flickering and I could hear all these noises. I got out of bed, and I made sure as many lights were on as were possible without waking anyone else.

We keep hearing sounds like someone running in the roofspace of the house, we have had it checked for possums etc but there is nothing there. It actually sounds like children running. Pretty scary considering we have seen what we think is the ghost of a small child.

Ive had too many experiences to know that theyre real. Mostly premonitions/gut feelings that something isnt right. But heres a few freaky ones for you that have happened to me, or to close family:

1) Woke up at 3.15 in the morning when I was about 8 years old....heard walking in the ceiling. It was definite human footsteps. Checked with everyone in the house at the time, noone had gotten up. Later found out that someone had died in the house.

2) In 1990.....the same time my grandfather passed away in Italy and my uncle returned there after a visit, mum saw a "cloud" form over my head, while we were sitting, talking in the lounge room. She mentioned it to me before we found out the news.

3) Same day as event 2, my uncle saw the plane that my other uncle was in "in flames". This uncle is not at all religious nor spiritual.

4) The morning we found out Dads aunt died, I woke up with probably the worst headache I had ever had. She and I were very close.....she also died of a brain haemorrage.

5) Mum and I were working in the family restaurant 3 years ago, we had to go get some extra plates. There was a mirror we walked past, Mum stop and froze, saying that she saw my grandmother in the mirror. The next morning we found she had died.

6) When I was very little, I had an old wardrobe in my room that was given to my parents from friends of theirs. The wardrobe went into my room. Several nights, I woke up seeing things, once a coffin, draped in flowers. Once, several people hanging from their necks inside the wardrobe. When I told my parents about what I saw, Dad destroyed the cupboard and threw its remnants out. Only recently was I told why, the cupboard had belonged to a deceased person.

7) Recently, Dad saw a child run up our stairs and "disappear". He said it was his imagination.

8) Walking through mud.....once got a feeling that my life was in danger, felt the need to hide and lie on the ground. When I thought about it later I started to realise that I had the feeling I was in a warzone, needing to find cover.

9) Even now, I get premonitions, a feeling of dread that usually equates to some real life problem. For example, I know when a family member is ill, or a major argument takes place, and several times I have foreseen a car crash happening and this has prevented me actually having one. Many many times I got a premonition of "hang on, this guy is going to cut you off" and sure enough it happens.

There are many many other stories I know of......the scariest ones I can think of is of all the people I know who have been ill and died and have dreamed their own deceased mothers and fathers the night before death. As im quite religious/spiritual im comfortable with these things.....I also believe that reincarnation is a possibility, and that from time to time we get "thrown back" to past lives, like my walking-in-the-mud episode.

Ive had too many experiences to know that theyre real. Mostly premonitions/gut feelings that something isnt right. But heres a few freaky ones for you that have happened to me, or to close family:

I do this as well. I don't esp my mom as much as I used to. But lately when ever the feeling of dread overcomes me...it's everything I can do to shoo it off. Last week, dread then depression...vacuum cleaner broke, airconditioner quit, and flat tire...$250.

We lived in a house where our tv would change channels, the doors and painted shut window would fly up. (we finally nailed the windows shut) stuff would disapear and reappear in strange places, knives in a made up bed, toothbrushes in the toliet, what ever poltergiest it was had a penchant for mother of pearl. Hair brushes, cuttlery, didn't matter, you couldn't keep it.

I would see "things" day or night. My bedroom was once off the carport. the carport had been closed in. NO ONE used the den. Something was not nice about it. Cold, regardless of the temp. Damp and cold. There was at least one suicide in the house. But after some research we found that an indian burial ground was once on that spot. We could finde arrow heads, beads and broken pottery in the back yard if we dug deep enough.

The house, would REEK of rotting flesh. Mind you none of this happened till my step father moved in. I read ghost stories and stuff back then, I blessed my own room and the bath. The stench would litterally be locked into the other rooms. You could enter mine and the bathroom and not smell the stench.

We moved the week the red eyeballs picked my mom up and threw her against the wall.

Apon our house hunting, my mom would make sure that when she went to look at a house I tagged along, after the inspection she'd ask me how i "felt". We bought a house that felt "cheery". You should see that house now. I think whatever it was was drawn to the aura and personality of my stepfather. Gloom still hangs in the air at my moms.

Awhile ago I went to check on a guy that was doing a job, and to take some photos. I showed my eldest the photo of him, and she said he looked evil(it was the same guy she used to have a crush on). Then I noticed the orbs in the photo, then in another photo of the same site, there were orbs everywhere.
When I hook my zip drive back up I will post the pics.

I remember when I was little I complained to mum about the dog coming into my room and licking my hand while I was asleep. It turned out the dog had been locked outside that night, and now I can't sleep with my hands or feet dangling over the bed.

I don't personally believe in ghosts, but I do believe in reincarnation. Some times it is possible for previous life impressions to be felt.

I don't particularly believe these past life regressions under hypnosis though. I have studied hypnosis and I understand the mechanism through which it works. In fact I place very little trust in hypnotic memory recovery at all.

Another pet theory of mine has a basis in physics and medicine. Energy can neither created or destroyed only changed from one form to another. Inanimate objects can store energy and release it over time. Electromagnetic energy is known to effect the temporal lobe of the brain.

I also dont believe in past life regressional hypnosis, however I have seen a very compelling documentary of a 4 year old child in Sri Lanka who believed that he was a reincarnation of a Sri Lankan soldier who had died in battle. He knew his name, where he lived, he recognised his "parents" from a crowd, pointed out the spot where he had been killed. All this came from a 4 year old boy, who lived ober 100kms away from where the soldier had lived and died.

In relation to hypnosis, I think that those who go through regressional hypnosis usually recount the life of someone they imagine, ie: if youre reliving a WWI soldier you would describe trenches etc but not be able to recount the specifics because you dont know them. Still, you can find fairly compelling evidence to support it as well.

Interesting point to note - early Christians believed in reincarnation, however the Catholic Church did well to abolish any tenet of this in its beliefs.

I guess this comes under premenition / ghost double whammy

My father once told me that he sometimes had a reoccuring dream, that was always the same. His father would come up to him and say ".. Theres something I need to tell you.." , then he would wake up.

And always, within a few days, a family member would die. His mother, his half brother, an aunt.

in 1996 he had the dream again, I found out later he had rung up and enquired about the health of all his family.. He then wrote down all the details of his business and contact numbers of friends.. He was going in for a routine heart operation. Then he died.

Im certain he must of had the same dream again, and realised this time it was for him.

BTW, some of the stories here have really made me feel unsettled.. to say the least.

Having Italian ancestry, theres alot of things that I was taught of when I was little:

1) If you dream of Jesus....its a very bad sign that can spell your death (this one isnt true because I once dreamed Jesus and nothing happened).

2) If you dream "clear water" and someone swimming in it, that person will die. This one is true, because mum dreamed her father in this manner a few days before he died, and then dreamed my dads father in the same way.

3) Dreaming of your dead parents is very common when someone is dying, and usually happens the day before they die.

4) Things happening out of the ordinary are interpreted as signs that something bad will take place. For instance, my mum once accidentally broke a glass cutting board while washing it, in that it shattered in her hands without falling or anything. She was paranoid that day that something would happen, however from memory nothing did.

The "clear water" dream is the worst one to have....whenever someone in the family has one we all freak because we know something will happen. However....I actually am happy when I experience a supernatural event because it confirms my faith and beliefs. Sure I get freaked that it happens but it reassures me of an afterlife and the existence of God and spirituality, but thats another discussion ;)

Closest I've ever experienced to something strange was the thing about animals knowing something was wrong. In 1995 my dad had a mild heart attack, was in hospital for about a week. One night I got woken up by my cat, she had come into my room and started cuddling up to me. She rarely did this, hadn't done so for a few years back when she was a kitten. 15 minutes later, the phone rang. Because of the time of the call and what my cat had done, I knew it was the bad news.

I consider myself christian
I believe in god, for I KNOW that evil exists
I the name of God repells said evil
I also believe that ones "energy" is never extinquished
I believe in past lives, I've been many places and met many ppl. Some I KNOW I've seen and met before. SOME I know I don't want to see or meet.

I believe in the this instance as well, because one night I was hearing strange noises, and just had that feeling that something or someone bad was there. I opened up my bible, and put it on the bed head near me and never heard another thing all night.

I believe children need to be listened to about these sorts of things. My youngest often refers to "When I was..." and then says "I used to.......". She may say she was a doctor, little boy or the weirdest was the tree. She recalls things we have never said anything about, and often when asked why she knows what to do or how she knew something, she replies "I just knew cause that's what people do". So either there is something there, or she has an incredible memory.

My sister used to do this all the time and used to scare mum heaps. She would say "When I was the mummy and you were the little girl....." and then tell mum stories of her childhood in Ireland. Stories that mum had never told before.
She also used to refer to herslef as mums grandfather and would tell stories about people in Ireland that mum can barely remember.
My mother occasionally gets really sick. Both times my cousin was pregnant, my mum got morning sickness and knew that my cousin was pregnant before she knew. When mum gets sick or worried, every one is really careful, but something always happens.

Recently I had a rush of dreams (3 or 4) all involving a friend from school who I haven't seen for years, he disappeared and was living on Stradbroke Island or somewhere.

In my dreams he says nothing, and either sits or stands staring blankly at something (nothing specific, just staring really).

I was speaking to my best mate, and he said he had the same sort of dreams (different location, same dude doing the same thing)

Weird

Stradbroke.....I got lost there when I was about 9yrs old. Maybe you need to talk to the friend, he may be finding something in his life difficult to deal with.

nothing major, I suppose.
I get mild deja vu three to four times a day, on average. And sometimes I'll carry a 'scene' around in the back of my mind, and I just know it's going to happen, but sometimes it doesn't for months.

But I've never seen an apparition or had anything truly freaky happen to me. I feel so left out.

When my parents were first married they lived in old terrace in Lewisham. My mum is a non religious, quite a "sensible" person but she says the place was haunted by a friendly ghost who she used to talk to occasionally when she was home being the house wife.

The first place i grew up in had really bad vibes. There were all sorts of stories of people seeing feet walk past their door, seeing things, things being moved around. My aunt could always feel negative vibes there, and when we moved to out the new place had good vibes. There were never any spooky stories at the new place

For some UNEXPLAINED reason *wolf cries/tumble weed rolls*, I tried to reply and it failed. Yet, we have the reply report...

Anyway, I'll try once more.

As a family we used to go on a lot of vacations together, often travelling by car. During the course of each journey one would inevitably have to drive through some tunnels to reach the destination. Everytime we did, my little sister would casually remark that 'Princess Diana lives here'. We put it down to an overactive childish imagination, yet on every occasion that we entered a passage, she felt compelled to remark on the current residence of Princess Diana. We once quizzed her about it, amused as we were, and she explained to us that she lives there with her 'royal horses'.

And then, two years later, August 31, 1997...

My 4yr old was telling me about the little circle things that were around her this morning, and when I went into her room they left. Then when I went to the shower, they came back into her room. She said they were pink...black & brown and weren't nice but they knew her name. They had small heads, and when I walked into the room they went out through the window.

There was a movie playing not to long ago, where little girls saw colored circles, the circles left them a mushroom to eat. After they ate the mushroom it slowed their physical existance up to see the fairies.

Unfortunately in the movie everyone that ate the mushroom and played with the fairies died. While in the other conciousness they fell out of trees breaking their necks, down wells and etc.

Brown circles made me think of this...
