Any brisbane zgeekers want to catch up?

Im in Brisbane for 2 weeks as of today. (Damn pesky contract work).

My mobile - 0403 190226. I also just got one of the newfangled phones that you can send me photos of your boobies on btw. I encourage its use, ill be all alone without any friends in a strange foreign city where they all speak slowly. I need your photos.

well im not local. I dont even know what language they speak up here, is it Japanese? Anyway, someone will have to suggest where to go for me. I dont know what is considered good food here.

I did go to Showgirls the other day. It was quite good. Not as busy as Sydney places (of course), but reasonable quality, low dickhead value and generally nice and relaxing. If we want to make it a naughty zmeet (i.e. zmeet with added breasts) .... mmmmmm....... sounds could be fun. Alternatively we can go to Geggles bible study group or something ;) (joke gegs)

The Minx is along Elizabeth Street, in the centre of town. If you know where the Hilton is, then just cross the road from there and walk right for a bit.

it's um....1-2 blocks from the mall, down towards the botanic gardens. sorry i can't give you very good directions, but every time i've been there so far i've had a few too many, so my memory is hazy :(

Go to the middle of the Queen St Mall, at the junction of Queen and Albert street (i.e. the bit that looks like a crossroads and has a bus underpass entry that goes under the mall on one side.) Head down Albert St, away from the bus underpass (you will pass by TimeZone). When you get to the junction of Albert and Elizabeth St, turn left. It is in this block, on the right-hand side of the street as you walk up, should be near Dick Smith Electronics.

Would we like to change the venue to Minx? Will it be too crowded or something? they get annoying if they are crowded because you have drunk guys charged with testosterone, naked women everywhere, and absolutely no chance of them getting laid. Its kind of funny really.

6pm for me tonight is pretty good. We should meet somewhere that's fairly distinctive so that edeity knows where the hell we all are.

If we're going to go drinking and we're with edeity, we may as well head out to Jorge (on George St) as it's full of pretentious wankers. Hopefully we won't lose him in the crowd ;)

I'm working friday night, so I can't really make it to anything in the late afternoon or early evening. If people are free to meet up at about 2ish then I should be able to hang around for a while. Any ideas on afternoon venues? If Zan rocks up, it needs to be somewhere that isn't necessarily a pub.

Oh that just bites. I've been in Brisvegas for the past 10 days but was staying on college at UQ for the Uni Games. Got back here on Thursday night and slept for about 24 hours. Only just saw the zgeek meet plans now!

I so would've come out, actualy I did drive into the valley for awhile but I ditched the girl I was with at the Family. Hope you all enjoyed it and I'll be keeping an eye on this place more next time I'm down.
