My brithday is coming up in little over a month and I'm saving my pennies as I want to purchase a DSLR to go with my point and shoot to take with me on my honeymoon in November.

I've been narrowing it down to 4 of the main brands namely the following

Canon 1000D
Sony A200
Nikon D60 and
Olympus E-420

Im partial to the first two as they do seem to be almost identical, while leaning away from the Olympus (runs on AA batteries and I am against AA batterys for cameras, they are useless in point and shoot, I cant imagine how bad it would be in a DSLR) and the Nikon (as nice as they are, not having an motor in the body for autofocus for the lenses is a big whoopsie. Im don't want to pay any extra for specific AF lenses)

From reading up on them, The Sony is supposedly getting an facelift soon, picture quality is similar to the Canon with the Canon edging out slightly in that the pictures appear to be slightly sharper.

I like the fact that the Sony can shoot in 3:2 or 16:9. (I'm sure that cropping in photoshop can easily remidy the situation for the Canon) The Canon seems to have a bit better build quality however.

I've managed to find some online shops that are selling the Sony with a Single lense for around $600 which is about $2-300 less than in a regular store.

Has anyone got/used any of these cameras and can shed some light on the situation?
