also most AU brews = hoppy nightmare like indian pale gone wrong.

I like malt >= hops in a beer. It gives it tahat heavier thing

Agreed. But that's because most AU 'hoppy' brews don't have the malty balls to back up the hops.

I tried to make an analogy where the hops were bank robbers and the malt was the getaway driver, but it simply didn't work. As a substitute, please imagine a lovely big set of boobs.
