'Superman' Will Get Dark Relaunch

The Dark Knight was, appropriately, a fairly dark movie. The Dark Knight also made like a billion dollars. Since Warner Bros. can put two and two together, they've decided all superhero movies should be dark from now on, and plan to test their theory by doing a dark, Hulk-style reboot of the shadowy, brooding character known as Superman.

Like the recent Batman sequel -- which has become the highest-grossing film of the year thus far -- Mr. Robinov wants his next pack of superhero movies to be bathed in the same brooding tone as "The Dark Knight." Creatively, he sees exploring the evil side to characters as the key to unlocking some of Warner Bros.' DC properties. "We're going to try to go dark to the extent that the characters allow it," he says. That goes for the company's Superman franchise as well.

Batman was originally the Dark Knight Detective, the problem is that the 60s "camp" version is stuck in the collective conciousness. It has simply been taken back to it's original form.

By doing "dark" with other superheros they are just fucking things up as usual.

There are plenty of "dark" heros in the comics but hollywood prefers to milk things to death before they move on

How the hell is Superman supposed to be 'dark'? He's the polar fucking opposite of Batman, the whole point of him is that he's this honourable noble idealist; that he is those things in a way which normal humans can't be.

Batman was always meant to be dark, revenge on criminals killing his parents, and hello, you seen many bats out in the daytime? BTW didn't we just realise that making a superhero a bit of a rebel, drinking etc didn't work so well for Will Smith, why is it meant to be a theme of drivel these producers want to spin.

You want geeks to tune into some new flick, have supergirl get it on with wonder woman, or some spoof movie where Lois gets shot in half when superman blows his load inside her.

An advanced early draft of the script has come to my attention. Please don't read if you don't like spoilers.

What happens is that Lex Luther drugs Lois Lane with a tonic that turns her into an insatiable crazed horny fuck slut. She wants superman's rod of steel deep in her vaginal tenderloins night and day. Superman is loving the hot sex but what he doesn't realise is that Lex has given Lois some special anal beads - not your ordinary anal beads, but beads made out of kryptonite.
