Borderlands is a WOW players FPS
I got Borderlands last night and I love it. But I am amazed by the world of warcraft type gameplay. Loot, talent trees, leveling up, XP points all seem to be geared to the wow players. The Loot even used the wow colors. White is poor, green is for better, blue for rare and purple for epics.

Not dissing the game, as I said it is awesome. I played around 6 hours straight last night. Anyone else have it for PC?

I have it, finished it, running through it again with a different character. Enjoy it so much I am even going to buy it next week.

It is a brilliantly fun game, and yeah the random loot bit is great fun. Have it, love it! And so does the wife and a few friends (we pooled and brought a 4 pack in pre-order, so only $37.50 each)

Yeah, I have it for PC and my Brick punches the shit out of everything.

You don't even really need to be "great" at FPS - it's tailored towards all types. If you're not good at FPS, don't go the Hunter - just go the Beserker (and punch shit to death) or the Soldier (and just spray and pray).
