An inner west Greens councillor has been found to be in serious breach of his duties, after taking on the fast food behemoth McDonald’s.
The Ashfield mayor, Lyall Kennedy, who said yesterday he was ”philosophically opposed to people buying burgers at 3 o’clock in the morning”, will be forced to publicly acknowledge he acted inappropriately
Cr Kennedy said his views on 24-hour trading of non-essential services were well known. ”It is not essential for people have access to hamburgers at three in the morning,” he said.
