Hey Dad! star Robert Hughes arrested
Former Hey Dad! television star Robert Hughes wanted for sex offences against a number of girls 20 years ago, has been arrested in London.
The 63-year-old was taken into custody following a two year investigation by the NSW Police Force’s Sex Crimes Squad.
Sarah Monahan Morris, who played “Jenny” on on the hit TV show tweeted: “I am literally crying with happiness right now”.
Its alleged Hughes sexually assaulted five girls between 1985 and 1990 in a number of northern Sydney suburbs.
