iPhone 5 launches. It’s crap.
Apple has unveiled the iPhone 5, saying it’s thinner and lighter than the previous model, even though it has a bigger screen. Australians will be able to buy one next Friday.
The iPhone 5 comes in either white and silver or black and slate and will be sold in Australia for $799 for the 16GB model, $899 for the 32GB model and $999 for the 64GB model. Apple said customers could pre-order from this Friday.
Looks like all the leaked info is correct. A new universal dock (eat shit) which can connect to your old universal dock with an extra $35 adaptor, it looks pretty much the same as the last phone except it it is now longer so you can fit another row of icons on the screen. It works on 4G. It has the same camera as the 4S on the back. The front camera gets an upgrade.
It’s still not as good as the Samsung Galaxy S3. But losers will line up for it.
